#33 Eating Mamon chino

This delicious fruit looks intimidating from its spiky exterior... but the inside tastes wonderful!




Amelia says: YUK!

Dad says: They taste prickly if you don't peel them! 

Mom says: This fruit is delicious and pretty! It tastes like a cross between a pear and a grape. 

Joshua says: It was delicious! It tastes like a large grape. I was happy to eat one because last trip I went to Costa Rica, I did not get to eat one and I really wanted to!

Ethan says: It is delicious but it is hard to eat without part of the seed sticking to the fruit.
