#14 Crocs

Our family is on a six month adventure in Costa Rica. Before leaving, our friends, the Cox family, gave us a precious gift... a photo scavenger hunt of things for us to discover and experience in Costa Rica. This is our account of how the scavenger hunt is going.... along with other pictures and thoughts about our time in Costa Rica.

Here is our first item marked off of the scavenger hunt list.

#14. Crocodiles

These are crocodiles (in the wild) we saw on the side of the road on the way to the beach....
Maddie says: Seeing crocodiles outside, in the open, on the side of the road was very fascinating. We learned that the reason they are in a group, is because they are fed, to attract the attention of tourists. It was really cool... crocodiles are definitely something that you don't see every day, and its awesome to see more of God's creation...

Mom says: I thought it was incredible to watch the crocs swim down the river... it was erie how quickly they went under water and disappeared.... I don't think I'll be swimming in any rivers while we are here!

Joshua says: It was awesome seeing the crocs out in the open! But I was nervous that Mason would fall in the water.

Amelia says: It was really cool to see them and I really loved to go on the side of the road and look over the bridge at real live crocodiles gathered up in a group.

Ethan says: It was very cool!
