#34, #52, #56 and #57 all revolve around trying tropical fruits..... which we were able to readily find at the Saturday market.
#34 Pejiabye - This was actually more like a vegetable... a cross between a sweet potato and mango?
We all loved it and ate it with our dinner for a few nights. It has to be boiled for a long time - that is usually done before you buy it!
#52 Anona (Guanabana)
Mom says: Tasted like a rotten apple with a million seeds and hair in it... Not my favorite!
Maddie says: It tasted weird.
Josh says: Hmmm I kind of like it.
#56 Jocote
Ethan says: Mas o menus (Meaning it was ok)
Joshua says: I thought it tasted like a mango. It was sweet and delicious.
Maddie says: Very good - but an interesting texture... like a milky mango.
Amelia says: YUM!
#57 Mamon Chino... This one was a repeat on our list (under a different name). We all loved this fruit....It is our favorite so far!
The boys are loving looking at all your posts, after this one they both wanted an apple. Lol. Looks like so much fun. X
