We spent an unbelievable weekend in Monteverde in the middle of the cloud forest. It was incredible. #27 on our scavenger hunt was originally to go to the Monteverde Cheese Factory but the road was closed so we exchanged it for a hanging bridge experience! We crossed over 8 hanging bridges... most over 150 feet high and 500 feet long.

Joshua says: It was fun to stand on the bridges and look around and bird watch! (Mom adds: Josh has become a avid bird watcher!)
Julie says: The views were breath-taking! Makes me feel very humble to see the wide variety of plants and trees - that we don't have at home in Northern Ireland. God's design is so special.
Ethan says: It was beautiful, especially being at the canopy level and being able to look down and see everything.
