We were so grateful to stay in a sweet lodge in Monteverde. The owners gave us full access to their kitchen so we could prepare our meals instead of needing to eat out. We used the common areas for family worship and 5 hour long games of Risk! It was wonderful. One afternoon ran to everyone (we were all playing games) and said... there is a sloth outside! Sure enough, very low and very awake was a beautiful two toed sloth! It was amazing to watch him eat and move around!

Maddie says: I especially enjoyed the big game of risk we played.... (Maddie and Annie were the last two standing!) and the beautiful sunsets.
Joshua says: I loved our hotel so much.... but there were pictures of quetzal birds everywhere which tortured me. (Josh is on a mission to spot a quetzal!)
Mason says: I liked playing futbol (soccer).
Julie says: It was a home away from home!
